How to Increase Traffic to Your Website

Starting a new website? What would you do to increase site traffic? The most important aspect for me is my keyword search. I need to do a good SEO plan that goes with my research.
Why take a new website and just put the pages without any kind of plan in place. When you do your keyword research it is three things: the volume of research, you’re going after and what is the competition. When you just put half the web pages SEO hazardly without a plan, a year and a half will pass and you wonder why you do not have anyone visiting the site. The reason we do not have any visitors because they have not had time to develop a well thought out SEO. I think there are two things that people leave their keyword research. They use words you do not have traffic or who have chosen a keyword that is so competitive that they could not file for it, even if it tried.
I thought briefly and in very simple terms as I increased the traffic targeted to my main site of about 1,000 to 10,000 unique visitors every month. This is a tenfold increase – I am aiming for a hundred-fold increase but would gladly settle for thirty or forty times the traffic.
